A copy of the players official birth certificate and either cash or check. The birth certificate must be one issued by a government agency (no hospital certificates). A passport is also acceptable.
What is the minimum age that can play?
For the Fall season, the player must turn three (3) years of age, by July 31, of the current year. For the Spring season, the player must turn three (3) by December 31, of the prior year.
What is the maximum age limit?
The player can be no more than eighteen (18) years of age, by July 31, to be able to participate.
What team will my child be on?
For ages U7 and older, players are placed on teams from a blind draw and cannot request to be places on a specific team.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes a uniform (shirt, shorts and socks) and supplemental insurance coverage.
What other equipment does my child need?
Each player is required to have shin guards. These must be worn at practice and at games. We strongly recommend a ball and soccer cleats.
What size ball will my child need?
There are three different sizes of balls. U5-U8 will use a size 3. U9-U12 will use a size 4. U13 and up will use a size 5.
Practice schedules are up to each coach. Generally, teams will practice once or twice per week, usually in the evening.
Games are primarily scheduled for Saturdays. Scheduling conflicts, weather situations and team counts may force the need to schedule games during the week or on Sundays.
U7 and younger will play all of their games at the North Park fields, just north of Beach and Shiver (north of the Wal-Mart). U-9 and older teams participate in the Northern Mid-Cities Soccer League. All home games for U8 and older will be at the North Park fields. Away games for U8 and older can be at various nearby associations including, but not limited to: Bedford-Euless, Colleyville, Eagle Mountain, Green Valley, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills or Trophy Club/Roanoke.
Each player is entitled to play at least 50% of each game, including recreational tournaments. The only limitation on this is due to discipline limitations, that the coach will outline at the beginning of the season.
Who do I contact if I have a question?
Start with your coach. If they can't assist you, contact your commissioner or leave a message on the information line and someone will get back to you.
