New U8 Playing Rules for Spring 2010
Due to the small number of U8 teams registered for the spring season NFWASA is teaming up with other NMCSL associations in the same situation to allow teams the opportunity to play more teams this season. But due to the varying rules used by area associations for U8, a new common set of modified playing rules has been adopted for this season.

North Fort Worth Soccer Association is providing weekly soccer coaching for players ages 6-16 from professional British Coaches at Green Valley Park at 7701 Smithfield Rd in North Richland Hills. The Challenger Sports coaches will prove a progressive series of age appropriate skill development practices for players or teams at each age group. When? Starting March 24th until May 19th.

On Tuesday, September 8, FC Dallas is holding a Community Practice in conjunction with the North Fort Worth Alliance Soccer Association and the Keller Soccer Association. The practice will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Keller Soccer Fields, located at 112 Sports Parkway in Keller. This authentic practice session will be followed by an autograph session for members of NFWASA.

Online Score Reporting Phone Number Changed
The number that coaches of U9 and older team must call to report games scores has changed effective immediately.
North Park Closed Sept. 13-14
Due to forecasted tropical storm force winds from Hurricane Ike, North Park fields will be closed and all games cancelled for the weekend of Sept. 13-14.
