NFWASA 2012 Elections

As you know NFWASA is a non-profit volunteer organization.  In addition to the greatcoaches that volunteer countless hours we have many others who serve on the board ofdirectors to keep the organization running.  Each year, as a member of the association you have the opportunity to elect new officers.  This year there are several positions that are up for election.  Listed below are the positions that are up for re-election.  In addition to theposition I am including the name of the current board member if they have chosen to run for re-election.

Nominations for these positions are now open.  If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else send an e-mail to equipment_director@nfwasa.org no later than Saturday May 5.  Descriptions, duties and responsibilities of each position are outlined in chapter twoof our bylaws, which are posted on our website.

Elections will be held during our annual FossilFest tournament on Saturday May 12.  Voting will be available at the registration tent from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  Each member household may place two votes.  You do not need to be a tournament participant to vote.
